My background

My name is Jayden Davy, I have been a BMX coach for the past 10 years and have most recently been working with MCRA as one of their BMX Racing coaches. I started coaching BMX at a young age and soon gained a love for helping others with what I knew. I have previously stopped racing myself but have experienced a long BMX racing career from the age of seven to the age of 25. This included numerous international races at the Elite level.

While I am not coaching at the BMX track I am working as a Primary school teacher around the Waikato as well as coaching at a CrossFit gym in Hamilton.

I have completed multiple courses to help with my coaching, including the Bike NZ rider development course, UCI level 1 & 2 coaching course along with a Sports & Leisure Degree and a Diploma in Primary Teaching.

Paring my love for the sport with my passion to teach others has led me down a successful road of helping riders become skilful, strong and mentally prepared riders going into their target race while ensuring they are having fun and enjoying their time on their bikes with their friends.

Questions

If you have any questions about training or if you are on the fence whether your rider would be suitable please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions that you may have either through email or at the Meet and Greet on the 22nd of January at 6pm. I have worked with a range of riders from 5 years old to 45 years old and im eager to help in any way that I can.

Looking forward to meeting you all on the 22nd of January or if you have already signed up the 30th of January.
Regards
Jayden
